“SEX AND THE CITY” WITH SOFTLINE FURNITURE

This is because the US film makers chose to use designer furniture by the Danish company in the film about the four smart single girls who are friends in New York.
“The immense popularity of the film means our furniture is being seen by hundreds of thousands of people all over the world, and this attention is unlocking tremendous potential for our distributors,” according to Finn H. Sørensen, director of Softline.
In the film, Softline furniture is included among the furnishings of Mr Big aka John’s apartment, which serves as a key setting for planning his wedding to one of the New York singles, Carrie. Items of furniture are also included in a number of other scenes in the happy-go-lucky film.
The US film makers fell for the functional designer sofa Lotus stocked by one of Softline’s distributors in New York, where the Lolland style of furniture is enjoying a boom.
“It is in fact our strategy to develop and market designer furniture to active, modern big-city dwellers, and placement in this film confirms in the very best way that we have succeeded here,” Finn comments.
